Alekséi Navalny: A story of courage and tenacity...

Human rights defenders and those who repudiate abuses and tyranny must be aware of the fate of the Russian opposition leader, Alekséi Navalny.
The story of this brave 44-year-old man is impressive.
A lawyer by profession, educated at the Friendship University of the Peoples (Russia) and Yale University, Nalvalny has faced Vladimir Putin
with determination for the past ten years, making accusations that show corruption government of the Russian Federation.
He recently published a documentary entitled "Putin's Palace: the story of the biggest bribery," He details the corruption scheme that built a residence at Cape Idokopás, valued at 100,000 million rubles (1 billion Euros ).
The documentary presents data related to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, his direct links with acts of corruption, and the property attributed to him having built illegally.
Simultaneously with the production of the documentary above, Alekséi Navalny was poisoned in Russia. His family managed to transfer him to a hospital in Germany, where he arrived in serious condition.
Toxicological tests carried out on the Russian opposition leader at the Charité hospital in Berlin confirmed that he was poisoned using the nerve agent Novichok. This chemical was initially developed in the former Soviet Union in the 1980s and is considered one of the most deadly nerve agents known.
Initially, the Novichok was designed to be undetectable, surpassing the chemical protection equipment that NATO had at that time. At present, it is detectable, as happened using the medical procedures applied to Navalny in the health center to which he was transported in Germany.
An additional example of his commitment to his people the Russian opposition leader returned to his country on January 17, along with his wife, Yulia Naválnaya.
Upon his arrival in Moscow, Alekséi Navalny was arrested at the airport and jailed, accused of failing to serve a previous sentence for alleged "acts of corruption."
For confronting President Vladimir Putin, Navalny has been subjected to multiple arrests over the past years and has been the target of several attempts on his life. The abuses against him have been denounced by the European Union, the United States, and Amnesty International.
Without a doubt, Alekséi Navalny has become the most potent opposition leader that has existed in the Russian Federation since Vladimir Putin is in control of the government. His defense of the social sectors most persecuted consolidated him as a figure of international respect.
Alekséi Navalni's life is once again in danger, and international pressure is the only one that could prevent him from ending up as an additional victim of those who has dared to claim freedom in Russia.
